Learning Outcomes and Application This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to set up and operate machines used for wool processing. Work may be conducted in small to large scale workplaces and may involve individual and team activities. Work is performed by employees operating and maintaining one or more machines required for wool processing according to defined procedures. It may also involve supervision of a production section of an operation and may involve responsibility for a number of employees operating wool processing machinery.No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of publication.
